In advance of the Human Rights Council elections that will take place this autumn for the membership term 2025-2027, Amnesty International and the International Service for Human Rights will hold an online pledging event for candidate States on 4 September 2024.
This event will provide Council candidates the opportunity to present their vision for membership and the priorities they will work on if elected. State representatives and civil society are invited to participate actively in the event and pose questions to candidate States on their human rights records and pledges. You can pose questions to the candidates at any time leading up to the event using #HRCElections2024 and/or submit your questions via this form.
