This event is a commemoration of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) 2025 ‘Addressing Abuse of Older Persons in Institutions’, at Human Rights Council session 59. It will take place on Thursday 19th June from 12:00-13:00 CET in Room XXVII, Palais des Nations, Geneva.
It is organised by INPEA, the NGO Committee on Ageing Geneva, WHO, and the Permanent Missions of Montenegro and Slovenia. GAROP is proud to be co-sponsoring this event.
