On Thursday 13th March from 2-3pm CET, older people from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe will participate in a side event of the Human Rights Council’s 58th session. They will share their experiences, reflect on the progress made, and underscore the importance of continuing the work that has already been achieved. We will hear about their advocacy journey, the challenges they have faced, and why they are calling for a new UN convention that could meaningfully improve the lives of older people in their regions.
