| Brief description (including themes or event programme if applicable) | This event in support of the GLOBAL RALLY is in fact the first event of the SAARC Psychiatric Federation (SPF) in 2022. We are privileged to organize this in support of the #AgeWithRights Campaign led by the GAROP. Having a mix of panellists from various backgrounds, we aim to sensitize a larger population towards recognition and implementation of human rights in older people in the South Asia. The SPF also intends to involve the Governments in a dialogue to formulate ageism-combatting policies and shout out in support of a UN Convention for the rights of older persons. |
