Brief description: Rally for Rights for Older People , it a preventive model against Torture of Older /Elders To provide physical and mental relief to torture elder survivor by their own son or daughter and their families through integrated family counselling Treatment Approach (ITA) Rally to expose their condition of Elders status in the family and country. Video Seminar /Interaction which help to share their good and bad experiences by Elders. To provide moral legal assistance and defend the rights to restitution , reparation, compensation and rehabilitation for victims of torture. Event conduct throughout 39 districts from Tamil Nadu India on 3rd March by planning. Expect to Participation more than 250 Elders in person or Video seminar/conference. To invite and motivate health & other professionals such as journalists lawyers and social workers to work for rehabilitation of Elders. To develop a network professionals throughout state of Tamil Nadu in an effort to build human rights awareness and encourage support for elimination of torture in Tamil Nadu. To conduct fact-finding missions on the incidences of torture and submit relevant authority for stop its recurrence.
