On 15th January, GAROP and the IFA hosted the webinar ‘Developing normative content for a new UN convention on the rights of older people’. The UN has asked for written submissions in the form of normative content for the right to autonomy and independence and the right to long term care and palliative care in preparation for the 10th session in April 2019.
This webinar included an explanation of what normative content means and how to develop strong normative content suggestions and was followed by practical examples in these two areas of human rights from GAROP members.
The recording of this webinar is now available here.
